As one of the most played VR titles in history, Gorilla Tag boasted over 1 million daily active users (DAU) and 3 million monthly active users (MAU) as of mid-2024. In January 2026, the game reached a peak of over 110,000 concurrent players in-headset. Despite its physically demanding nature, it maintains strong engagement, with players spending an average of 60 minutes per session. Furthermore, the title has surpassed $100 million in total revenue; on Steam, where it is a paid game, it has sold more than 2.4 million units.

Another Axiom

As a Pod Captain and Game/Level Designer from March 2023 to November 2025, I led cross-disciplinary teams to conceptualize and launch over five new levels for the popular VR title, Gorilla Tag. I directed the development of pods that integrated innovative motion models, including swimming, gliding, and hoverboard mechanics. Additionally, I updated legacy levels to enhance performance and introduce new gameplay features. I overhauled the game hub, store layout, and interaction flow to improve user navigation and increase the visibility of purchasable items.
