Spherecasting and Object Detection

Above: Audrey within a virtual (game) environment with "Vision" class running. 

The avatar uses spherecasting to project a volume forward from it's eyes. The volume registers any contacts it makes within the environment and checks the object's tag to identify it.

In the AR app Audrey detects vertical and horizontal planes from ARCore as floor and wall as well as the player's device.
